Around Barry and Penarth you have Victorian and Edwardian terraces and villas, tall rooms, chimney breasts with alcoves either side, and bay windows taking up the wall you were hoping to use. Cowbridge, Llantwit Major and the villages are older stock again. Thick walls, deep window reveals, rooms that are rarely square and floors that have settled over a couple of centuries. Nothing off the shelf fits those rooms properly, which is exactly why a run measured to the room works so well in them. Then there are the modern estates spreading out around Barry, Rhoose and St Athan, and the newer developments near the airport. Square rooms, lower ceilings, less space, and the second bedroom usually barely wide enough for a bed. Those are the rooms where sliding doors earn their place, because a hinged door needs floor space that is not there. Whichever end of the Vale you are in, the run is built to the room rather than ordered from a catalogue. An awkward wall is a detail, not a reason not to bother. ## Across the Vale We fit wardrobes right across the Vale of Glamorgan. ### Barry and the coast Barry, Barry Island, Sully, Rhoose, Porthkerry, Font-y-gary ### Penarth and the east Penarth, Dinas Powys, Wenvoe, Sully, Llandough, Cogan ### Cowbridge and the villages Cowbridge, Llanblethian, Ystradowen, Pentre Meyrick, Aberthin, Llansannor ### The west of the Vale Llantwit Major, St Athan, Boverton, Llanmaes, Wick, Ewenny ### North of the Vale Peterston-super-Ely, St Nicholas, Bonvilston, Pendoylan, Llancarfan If your village is not on the list, ring us. Everything we fit down there was cut and built at that bench. 01 ### Made here, not ordered in Your doors are built at our own workshop rather than ordered from a factory and shipped over. The person who measures your room works at the place they are made. 02 ### Our own fitter, not a subcontractor Fitting day is one of our own team, not somebody handed your address that morning. If something needs adjusting we come back ourselves. 03 ### No showroom markup Companies with retail park showrooms pass on the rent, the advertising and the commission. We make ours ourselves, which is the whole reason we start at £799. ## Trusted Across the Vale of Glamorgan 4.9 Google reviews Read the rest on Google: https://share.google/29ctKE8cGAMsuhZwt > “We had some wardrobes fitter earlier this year. There is no distance charge within 75 miles of our Pontypridd factory. A small charge may apply further afield, and we will confirm that before arranging your visit. ### How soon can you get to me in the Vale? All locations are treated equally, so there are no priority areas. The visit can take place as soon as we possibly can, at a time that works for both you and us. ### Do you cover the villages as well as Barry and Penarth? Yes, right out to Cowbridge, Llantwit Major and the villages in between. Ring us with your postcode if you are not sure. ### My house is old and nothing in it is square, is that a problem? No, and it is usually where a fitted run makes the biggest difference. Nothing off the shelf fits a room like that. Ours is measured to the room and scribed on the day. ### Can you work around a bay window? Yes, and in the Penarth and Barry villas we do it regularly. The run usually goes on the wall opposite or into the alcoves. ### The second bedroom in our new build is tiny, is it worth doing? Usually more so than the main one. A hinged door needs two feet of clear floor before it opens and a small second bedroom has not got it. ### Do you have a showroom in the Vale? No local showroom. If you would like to see the doors in person, they are on display at our workshop in Cilfynydd, at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, and at JB Carpets and Beds (https://www.jb-carpets.com/) in Nelson. ## Vale of Glamorgan Fitted Wardrobes From £799 Sliding wardrobes start at £799 whichever doors you choose.
