The inter-war semis running out through Sketty, Killay and Uplands are the bread and butter, with bay-fronted main bedrooms, decent width, and ceilings just high enough that a shop-bought wardrobe leaves a good foot and a half of nothing above it. Closer in, around Brynmill, Mount Pleasant and the Hafod, you are into terraces. Narrower rooms, a chimney breast in the middle of the wall, and the usual pair of alcoves that most people never get proper use out of. Those alcoves are usually where the best storage ends up. Out west towards Mumbles, Langland and Newton the stock changes again, with more detached houses, dormers and bungalows, and bedrooms that are often long and narrow rather than square. A mirrored run on the long wall widens those rooms noticeably. And then there are the newer estates and the flats around the marina, where the rooms are square and the ceilings lower. Every one of those is a different job, which is the point of building each run to the room rather than ordering it from a catalogue. ## Across Swansea and the Surrounding Area We fit wardrobes across Swansea and the surrounding area. ### Central Swansea Uplands, Brynmill, Mount Pleasant, Sandfields, St Thomas, Hafod, Landore ### West Swansea Sketty, Killay, Dunvant, Derwen Fawr, Tycoch, West Cross ### North and east Morriston, Clydach, Llansamlet, Birchgrove, Bonymaen, Winch Wen ### Around the city Gorseinon, Loughor, Pontarddulais, Gowerton, Penllergaer, Llanelli If your street is not on the list, ring us and we will tell you straight whether we can get to you. ## Bedrooms We Have Fitted in Swansea Genuine projects, shown under the town or village recorded for each job. Swansea is further out than most of where we work, so we tend to plan those jobs rather than fit them in around the corner, but everything we fit there is still made by us. 01 ### Made here, not ordered in Your doors are cut and built at our own workshop rather than ordered from a factory and shipped over. Nothing arrives flat packed from overseas. 02 ### Our own fitter, not a subcontractor Fitting day is one of our own team, not somebody handed your address that morning. If something needs adjusting we come back ourselves. 03 ### No showroom markup Companies with retail park showrooms pass on the rent, the advertising and the commission. We make ours ourselves, which is the whole reason we start at £799. ## Trusted Across Swansea 4.9 Google reviews Read the rest on Google: https://share.google/29ctKE8cGAMsuhZwt > “Just had these fitted. It is further from the workshop than most of where we work, so ring us with your postcode and we will tell you straight what we can do and when. ### Do you charge extra to come to Swansea? There is no distance charge within 75 miles of our Pontypridd factory. A small charge may apply further afield, and we will confirm that before arranging your visit. ### How soon can you get to me in Swansea? All locations are treated equally, so there are no priority areas. The visit can take place as soon as we possibly can, at a time that works for both you and us. ### Do you cover Mumbles and the Gower? No. Mumbles and the Gower are outside the area we cover. Swansea itself is no problem — ring us with your postcode and we will tell you straight what we can do. ### Can you work around a bay window? Yes, and in the inter-war semis around Sketty and Uplands we do it regularly. The run usually goes on the wall opposite or into the alcoves. ### My bedroom is long and narrow rather than square, what works best? A mirrored run along the long wall widens the room considerably to the eye. It is one of the most common things we fit in that kind of house. ### Do you have a showroom in Swansea? No local showroom. If you would like to see the doors in person, they are on display at our workshop in Cilfynydd, at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, and at JB Carpets and Beds (https://www.jb-carpets.com/) in Nelson. ## Swansea Fitted Wardrobes From £799 Sliding wardrobes start at £799 whichever doors you choose.
