Down in Aberavon and Taibach it is mostly terraces, with narrow bedrooms, a chimney breast taking up the middle of the wall and an alcove either side that rarely gets proper use. Sandfields is a different job. The post-war houses there have square rooms, lower ceilings and a second bedroom that is usually just about big enough for a bed. That is the room where sliding wardrobes make the biggest difference in Port Talbot, because a hinged door needs floor space that is simply not there. Out at Baglan and on the newer estates the rooms are more regular again, though the ceilings are lower and the space is tighter. A floor to ceiling run with mirror doors makes a small modern bedroom feel considerably bigger. Up the valley in Cwmafan and Pontrhydyfen you are back into older terraces, with floors and walls that have moved over the years. None of it stops a fitted wardrobe going in, because every run is measured to the room it is going in. ## Across Port Talbot and Neath We fit sliding wardrobes right across Port Talbot and the surrounding area. ### Port Talbot town Aberavon, Taibach, Sandfields, Margam, Velindre, Tai-bach ### Baglan and the east Baglan, Baglan Moors, Briton Ferry, Giant's Grave ### Up the valleys Cwmafan, Pontrhydyfen, Bryn, Cymmer, Goytre ### Neath and nearby Neath, Skewen, Cimla, Tonna, Aberdulais ### Just outside Swansea, Bridgend, Pyle, Porthcawl, Maesteg If your street is not on the list, ring us and we will tell you straight whether we can get to you. ## Bedrooms We Have Fitted Around Port Talbot Genuine projects, shown under the town or village recorded for each job. Everything we fit in the town is cut and built there. 01 ### Made here, not ordered in Your doors are built at our own workshop, not ordered from a factory and shipped over. The person who measures your room works at the place they are made. 02 ### Our own fitter Fitting day is one of our own team, not somebody handed your address that morning. If something needs adjusting we come back ourselves. 03 ### No showroom markup Companies with retail park showrooms pass on the rent, the advertising and the commission. We make ours ourselves, which is how we start at £799. ## Trusted Across Port Talbot 4.9 Google reviews Read the rest on Google: https://share.google/29ctKE8cGAMsuhZwt > “We had some wardrobes fitter earlier this year. Yes, right across the town and out to Baglan, Neath and up the valley. Ring us with your postcode if you are not sure. ### Do you charge extra to come to Port Talbot? There is no distance charge within 75 miles of our Pontypridd factory. A small charge may apply further afield, and we will confirm that before arranging your visit. ### How soon can you get to me in Port Talbot? All locations are treated equally, so there are no priority areas. The visit can take place as soon as we possibly can, at a time that works for both you and us. ### The second bedroom is tiny, is a fitted wardrobe worth it? That is usually the room that gains the most. A hinged door needs two feet of clear floor to open and a small second bedroom has not got it. Sliding doors need none. ### Can you work around a chimney breast? Yes. The alcoves either side of a chimney breast are usually where the best storage ends up. ### My floors and walls are not straight, is that a problem? Older houses around here rarely are level. Our own fully trained fitters scribe and adjust on the day so the wardrobes sit level and the doors run smoothly. ### Do you have a showroom in Port Talbot? No local showroom. If you would like to see the doors in person, they are on display at our workshop in Cilfynydd, at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, and at JB Carpets and Beds (https://www.jb-carpets.com/) in Nelson. ## Port Talbot Fitted Wardrobes From £799 Sliding wardrobes start at £799 whichever doors you choose.
