The older terraces around Maindee and Pill are much like the Cardiff ones, with a chimney breast in the middle of the wall and alcoves either side that most people never get proper use out of. Then there are the nineteen thirties semis running out through Allt-yr-yn, Rogerstone and Malpas. Bay windows in the front bedroom, decent width, and ceilings just high enough that a shop-bought wardrobe leaves a foot and a half of dead air above it. Those houses take a full height run beautifully and it usually surprises people how much the room gains. Newer again are the estates out at Duffryn, Bettws and the Celtic Manor side, and the flats built around the riverfront. Square rooms, lower ceilings and less space to play with, which is where mirror doors do their best work. Whatever the house, the run is measured to the room rather than ordered from a catalogue, so a bay wall or an awkward corner is a detail rather than a problem. ## Across Newport and Beyond We fit wardrobes right across Newport and the surrounding area. ### Central Newport Maindee, Pill, Stow Hill, Baneswell, Shaftesbury, Alexandra Docks ### North Newport Allt-yr-yn, Malpas, Bettws, Rogerstone, High Cross, Pentrepoeth ### East Newport Caerleon, Langstone, Ringland, Llanwern, Lliswerry, Somerton ### West Newport Duffryn, Marshfield, Coedkernew, Castleton ### Just outside the city Cwmbran, Risca, Pontypool, Chepstow, Caerphilly If your street is not on the list, ring us. Everything we fit in the city was cut and built there. 01 ### Made here, not ordered in Your doors are built at our own workshop rather than ordered from a factory and shipped over. The person who measures your room works at the place they are made. 02 ### Our own fitter, not a subcontractor Fitting day is one of our own team, not somebody handed your address that morning. If something needs adjusting we come back ourselves. 03 ### No showroom markup Companies with retail park showrooms pass on the rent, the advertising and the commission. We make ours ourselves, which is the whole reason we start at £799. ## Trusted Across Newport 4.9 Google reviews Read the rest on Google: https://share.google/29ctKE8cGAMsuhZwt > “Just had these fitted. A small charge may apply further afield, and we will confirm that before arranging your visit. ### How soon can you get to me in Newport? All locations are treated equally, so there are no priority areas. The visit can take place as soon as we possibly can, at a time that works for both you and us. ### Do you actually cover Newport, or just Cardiff? Yes, we cover the whole of Newport, from Rogerstone and Marshfield in the west to Caerleon and Langstone in the east. Get in touch, and we'll take your details and work out a plan from there, or ring us with your postcode if you're not sure. ### Can you work around a bay window? Yes, and in the thirties semis around Allt-yr-yn and Rogerstone we do it regularly. The run usually goes on the wall opposite or into the alcoves. ### My house is a new build with low ceilings, is it still worth it? Often more so. A lower ceiling means a shop-bought wardrobe wastes proportionally more of the height, and mirror doors make a square modern bedroom feel considerably bigger. ### Do you cover Cwmbran and Pontypool as well? Yes, we cover all of South Wales and West. ### Do you have a showroom in Newport? No. We come to you anywhere in the city. If you would like to see the doors in person, they are on display at our workshop in Cilfynydd, at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, and at JB Carpets and Beds (https://www.jb-carpets.com/) in Nelson. ## Newport Fitted Wardrobes From £799 Sliding wardrobes start at £799 whichever doors you choose.
