Long terraces stepped into the hillside, rooms a little narrower than you would find further south, and ceilings that are generous for the age of the house. The chimney breast decides most jobs up here. One alcove is usually usable and the other is behind the door or up against a window, so the run goes on the wall that fits rather than the wall a catalogue assumes. That is the advantage of building each one to the room. Houses on a slope bring their own problems. Floors that fall away across the room, walls that have moved with the ground over a century, and skirting that has not been level since it went on. None of that stops a fitted run going in. It just means measuring properly and scribing on the day, which is what our fitters do anyway. The newer estates around The Works and out towards Cwm and Beaufort are a different job again, with square rooms and lower ceilings. A floor to ceiling run uses the height a freestanding wardrobe throws away, and that matters more in a smaller room. ## Ebbw Vale Bedrooms We Have Fitted Image: Two sliding doors in silver frames with white coloured glass above and below a black glass band in Ebbw Vale (https://spmirrorwardrobes.co.uk/__l5e/assets-v1/f7c633d9-300e-4a9b-9691-fd900b026fb1/ebbw-vale-white-black-glass.jpg) Ebbw Vale Two sliding doors in silver frames with white coloured glass above and below a black glass band Image: Three sliding doors with grey coloured glass either side of a full-height mirror, in a grey surround in Tredegar (https://spmirrorwardrobes.co.uk/__l5e/assets-v1/dba7d421-582a-46b5-9fdd-098ff6d595e8/tredegar-grey-glass-mirror.jpg) Tredegar Three sliding doors with grey coloured glass either side of a full-height mirror, in a grey surround Image: Three grey coloured glass and mirror sliding doors with silver frames and horizontal bars in Beaufort (https://spmirrorwardrobes.co.uk/__l5e/assets-v1/d39e6d80-e57b-49d0-bbbc-4cc41b5d33c1/beaufort-grey-glass-mirror.jpg) Beaufort Three grey coloured glass and mirror sliding doors with silver frames and horizontal bars Image: Three full-height mirror sliding doors in a walnut-effect frame and surround in Brynmawr (https://spmirrorwardrobes.co.uk/__l5e/assets-v1/a8886eb8-7995-4e1f-98ad-96f18dcfc133/brynmawr-walnut-mirror.jpg) Brynmawr Three full-height mirror sliding doors in a walnut-effect frame and surround Image: Walnut-effect wardrobe interior with single and double hanging rails either side of a central shelf tower, before the doors go on in Cwm (https://spmirrorwardrobes.co.uk/__l5e/assets-v1/5bf4b7e5-467d-42b0-8881-8a511e308a93/cwm-walnut-interior.jpg) Cwm Walnut-effect wardrobe interior with single and double hanging rails either side of a central shelf tower, before the doors go on Image: Frosted white-grey coloured glass sliding doors with horizontal strips either side of a full-height central mirror, in a dark wood surround in Abertillery (https://spmirrorwardrobes.co.uk/__l5e/assets-v1/4b5aac90-ab08-4b72-9f37-347527202e9d/abertillery-grey-glass-mirror.jpg) Abertillery Frosted white-grey coloured glass sliding doors with horizontal strips either side of a full-height central mirror, in a dark wood surround Every one of these was measured, built and fitted by us Book Your Free Design Visit (https://spmirrorwardrobes.co.uk/contact-us) ## Across Blaenau Gwent We fit sliding wardrobes right across Ebbw Vale and the valleys around it. ### Ebbw Vale Ebbw Vale, Cwm, Victoria, Willowtown, Garnlydan, Rassau, Briery Hill ### North of the town Brynmawr, Beaufort, Nantyglo, Blaina, Llanelly Hill ### Down the valley Abertillery, Six Bells, Cwmtillery, Aberbeeg, Llanhilleth ### Tredegar and nearby Tredegar, Sirhowy, Georgetown, Dukestown, Trefil ### Just outside Merthyr Tydfil, Blackwood, Newbridge, Pontypool, Crickhowell If your street is not on the list, ring us. If something needs adjusting we come back ourselves. 03 ### No showroom markup Companies with retail park showrooms pass on the rent, the advertising and the commission. A selection is on display at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, and there are more at our workshop in Cilfynydd and at JB Carpets and Beds (https://www.jb-carpets.com/) in Nelson. ### Do you charge extra to come to Ebbw Vale? There is no distance charge within 75 miles of our Pontypridd factory. A small charge may apply further afield, and we will confirm that before arranging your visit. ### How soon can you get to me in Ebbw Vale? All locations are treated equally, so there are no priority areas. The visit can take place as soon as we possibly can, at a time that works for both you and us. ### My floors run downhill and the walls are not straight, is that a problem? Not in a house of that age. Our fitters scribe and adjust on the day so the run sits level and the doors slide properly. ### There is only one usable alcove beside the chimney breast, can you still do it? Yes. A run does not have to be symmetrical. We build to the wall you have got rather than the wall the catalogue assumes. ### Do you cover Tredegar, Brynmawr and Abertillery? Yes, right across Blaenau Gwent. Ring us with your postcode if you are unsure. ### Do you have a showroom in Ebbw Vale? No, we come to you, which is one of the reasons we are not charging retail park prices. If you would like to see the doors in person, they are on display at our workshop in Cilfynydd, at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, and at JB Carpets and Beds (https://www.jb-carpets.com/) in Nelson. ## You Can See Our Doors in Ebbw Vale A selection of our doors is on display at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, so you can see the finishes and try the runners for yourself before you book anything.
