The Georgian and Victorian town houses around the centre have tall rooms, chimney breasts with alcoves either side, and walls that have moved a little over a couple of centuries. Out in the villages it is older again. Stone cottages and farmhouses have thick walls, deep window reveals, low beams in places and bedrooms where nothing is quite straight. Nothing from a shop fits those rooms properly, which is exactly why a fitted wardrobe measured to the room works so well in them. Then there are the newer estates around Johnstown, Llangunnor and the edges of town, where the bedrooms are square and the ceilings lower. Different job, same answer. A floor to ceiling sliding wardrobe uses the height a freestanding one throws away. Carmarthen is further from the workshop than most of where we work, so we plan those jobs properly in advance. Everything is still measured, built and fitted by us. ## Across Carmarthen and West Wales We fit sliding wardrobes across Carmarthen and the wider West Wales area. ### Carmarthen town Carmarthen, Johnstown, Llangunnor, Pensarn, Tanerdy, Llansteffan Road ### East of Carmarthen Cross Hands, Llandeilo, Ammanford, Tumble, Pontyberem ### South and the coast Kidwelly, Burry Port, Pembrey, Ferryside, Llansteffan ### West of Carmarthen St Clears, Whitland, Bronwydd, Cynwyl Elfed, Newcastle Emlyn ### Just outside Llanelli, Swansea, Port Talbot If your village is not on the list, ring us and we will tell you straight whether we can get to you. ## Bedrooms We Have Fitted Around Carmarthen Genuine projects, shown under the town or village recorded for each job. We plan those visits and fitting days properly, and everything we fit in West Wales is still cut and built in our own workshop. 01 ### Made here, not ordered in Your doors are built at our own workshop, not ordered from a factory and shipped over. The person who measures your room works at the place they are made. 02 ### Our own fitter Fitting day is one of our own team, not somebody handed your address that morning. If something needs adjusting we come back ourselves. 03 ### No showroom markup Companies with retail park showrooms pass on the rent, the advertising and the commission. We make ours ourselves, which is how we start at £799. ## Trusted Across Carmarthen 4.9 Google reviews Read the rest on Google: https://share.google/29ctKE8cGAMsuhZwt > “Very happy with my beautiful replacement doors with black surround. It is further from the workshop than most of where we work, so ring us with your postcode and we will tell you straight what we can do and when. ### Do you charge extra to come to Carmarthen? There is no distance charge within 75 miles of our Pontypridd factory. A small charge may apply further afield, and we will confirm that before arranging your visit. ### How soon can you get to me in Carmarthen? All locations are treated equally, so there are no priority areas. The visit can take place as soon as we possibly can, at a time that works for both you and us. ### My house is old and nothing in it is square, is that a problem? No, and it is usually where a fitted wardrobe makes the biggest difference. Nothing off the shelf fits a room like that, and ours is measured to the room. ### Can you work around a chimney breast and deep window reveals? Yes. Alcoves either side of a chimney breast are usually where the best storage ends up, and the run is built around the room you have got. ### Do you cover the villages as well as the town? Yes, including Llandeilo, Kidwelly and St Clears. Ring us if you are further out and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you. ### Do you have a showroom in Carmarthen? No local showroom. If you would like to see the doors in person, they are on display at our workshop in Cilfynydd, at The Flooring & Bed Depot in Ebbw Vale, and at JB Carpets and Beds (https://www.jb-carpets.com/) in Nelson. ## Carmarthen Fitted Wardrobes From £799 Sliding wardrobes start at £799 whichever doors you choose.
